Senior Mechanical Compliance Engineer

For one of our partners we are recruiting a Senior Compliance Engineer.

The demand for chips and, consequently, semiconductors continues to rise. These are essential across industries ranging from mobile communications to automotive. Advanced machines are required for the production of semiconductors, and our partner plays a crucial role in this. As a Mechanical Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for certifying these machines on a mechanical basis.

Job Description:
As a Mechanical Compliance Engineer, you will manage and compile CE and SEMI machine certifications focused on mechanical aspects, including necessary documentation. The emphasis is mainly on standards such as ISO and ASME, although other norms may apply depending on the client. This variety ensures a dynamic role. You will collaborate closely with colleagues within the project to implement changes and advise on compliance with guidelines and machine certification. Additionally, you will maintain contacts with certification bodies and suppliers and answer customer queries regarding certifications.

As part of the 25-member Development & Engineering team, you will have ample opportunity to introduce, develop, and implement your ideas in an open and dynamic work environment.

Profile:
You are motivated to optimize documentation and certifications within mechanical engineering. You work precisely and can quickly adapt to new situations. Furthermore, you are proficient in independent and project-based work. You have:

  • A completed technical degree at HBO level in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in machine construction within the semiconductor industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in applying mechanical safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

Our Offer:
We offer a full-time position with challenges in finding technical solutions within the norms. You will join a friendly and informal work atmosphere with:

  • A competitive monthly salary, based on experience.
  • A one-year contract with a prospect of a permanent position.
  • Flexible working hours and possibilities for remote work.
  • Participation in the PMT Pension Fund.
  • 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days.
  • Extensive opportunities for personal development and training.
  • Commuting expenses reimbursement.

We look forward to your contribution to our team and the valuable impact you will have within the dynamic world of semiconductor manufacturing.
