We are currently supporting a leading player in the heavy cargo transport industry intheir search for a Commercial Manager. This role combines business development and key account management in a dynamic international setting. Key Responsibilities
As a Commercial Manager Shipping, you will:
· Maintain and expand relationships with key clients across an assigned region or productgroup
· Work closely with international offices and agents to identify businessopportunities
· Proactively seek out special cargo prospects suitable for heavy lift and transport vessels
· Manage the full commercial cycle: handle inquiries, develop proposals, and negotiatefreight rates and contract terms
· Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and QHSE teams to ensure smooth execution ofcontracts
· Stay informed on market trends and developments to ensure a competitive andstrategic commercial approach
· Represent the company externally through client visits and industry events
Your Profile
You are commercially sharp and bring a strong customer-oriented mindset. Youhave:
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial role, ideally within the maritime, logistics, or offshore industry
· Proven success in sales and business development
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; other languages are a plus
· The ability to liaise at all levels, internally and externally
· A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and flexibility to travel when needed
· A team-oriented mindset with the confidence to operate independently
