Unity Partners on behalf of our Offshore & Energy partner

 

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Buyer to support complex and large-scale projects within the offshore energy domain. From offshore wind platforms to hydrogen infrastructure, you’ll play a key role in building sustainable procurement solutions that directly impact the success of ourclient’s projects and the broader energy transition.

 

Key Responsibilities
As a Buyer, you will:

·      Lead procurement processes for complex technical offshore projects

·      Coordinate purchasing of materials and services with a focus on quality, cost, and timely delivery

·      Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers across the globe

·      Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and finance to deliver integrated project solutions

·      Manage contract negotiations, delivery planning, and cost efficiency initiatives

·      Identify risks in the supply chain early and implement proactive solutions to stay aligned with project timelines

·      Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and support sustainable sourcing

 

Your Profile
You bring a strong commercial mindset and proven experience in procurement within a technical project environment. Specifically, you have:

·      A completed higher professional education (HBO) in (technical) business administration, supply chain, or related field

·      At least 5 years of experience in a procurement role within offshore, energy, ortechnical sectors

·      Hands-on experience with contract management, delivery planning, and cost control

·      Affinity with sustainability and the energy transition

·      Strong negotiation and communication skills, with an analytical and proactive approach

·      Fluency in English is essential; Dutch is a strong advantage
